Shawn Gaskill is a 24-year-old rock/metal guitarist, writer, producer, and audio engineer based in Pittsburgh, PA. He is an alumnus of Berklee College of Music (Class of '25), where he dual majored in Contemporary Writing & Production and Music Production & Engineering, and triple minored in Film Scoring, Video Game Scoring, and Audio-Post Production.

As an audio-post mixer, Shawn has done work for a variety of productions, from podcasts to short films. Shawn's most notable work in this space has been with the esteemed news organization Reuters, where he contributed his audio restoration, mixing, and editing skills for their flagship podcasts Reuters World News and On Assignment.

As a composer, Shawn has worked with Droid Mafia in creating music for Warner/Discovery’s production music library, where networks such as CBS, Investigation Discovery, and Discovery Channel pick production music for their shows and programming.

Shawn’s work as a composer has been recognized by composer organizations such as ASMAC, where he ranked 3rd in their annual Jon and Ray Charles Vocal Arranging Competition in 2023.

As a recording/mixing/mastering engineer and producer, Shawn has worked with up and coming artists and musical groups. One of which, a chamber choir called Chord Achoired, went on to have their performance shared on the 800k+ follower Instagram page @dailychoirs.
